Getting Started with Pluck

This guide will have you up and running in about a minute. No complicated setup, no config files. Just install, click, and copy.

Step 1: Create your account

Head to the login page and sign up with your email. That's it. You'll land on your dashboard right away.

Step 2: Install the extension

Grab the Pluck browser extension from the Chrome Web Store. Once it's installed, you'll see the Pluck icon in your toolbar.

Step 3: Pluck your first component

Go to any website. Click the Pluck icon. Hover over the component you want to copy — a button, a card, a whole section — and click it. Pluck captures everything about that component: its layout, styles, colors, and structure.

Step 4: Paste into your AI tool

Hit "Copy as Prompt" and paste it into Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or whatever you're building with. The AI gets all the context it needs to recreate that component with high fidelity.

Free vs. Unlimited

The free plan gives you 50 plucks a month with the LLM Prompt copy mode. If you need unlimited plucks and extra copy modes like Figma, upgrade to the Unlimited plan for $10/month. You can do this from your dashboard at any time.
